Central Dauphin East High School’s lockdown has been lifted as of 11:30 a.m. and classes have resumed, according to district spokeswoman Shannon Leib. It’s unclear how many students were involved or if anyone was hurt. Leib said local law enforcement is at the high school and investigating the altercation.
Everything was pointing towards the Central Dauphin girls soccer team following in the boys team’s footsteps, as it appeared it was headed to the second penalty kick shootout of the day at Eagle View Middle School like their male counterparts had done in their title contest.
Local police are still investigating a shooting threat that was made toward Central Dauphin East High School, but the threat was since ruled a hoax, the district said. “Please know that the safety and security of our students and staff is of paramount importance and we make every effort to maintain an environment where students and staff feel safe,
